I’m a lifetime educator and explorer of all things. I’m particularly interested in the overlapping areas of technology, education, and communication. When I need a break from being in front of a screen, I love to paddle any type of craft or read a good book.
I’ve worked as a wilderness instructor, teacher, school administrator, and most recently, as a livestream producer. I am drawn to mission based organizations and companies. I’m excited to work with organizations and schools to make accessible technologies that were previously out of reach.
Many years ago, as I was trying to find a teaching job, I once shared with a school principal that my undergraduate degree was in philosophy. They laughed and laughed, and said that was the second worst major for a teaching job (I don’t remember the worst). Despite their advice, I found a teaching job. What I didn’t know, I learned and I’ve carried that philosophy with me into all of my work.
